What we collect

DriftHalt collects the following data to provide the service:

• Your email address and password (hashed with bcrypt)
• Server metadata reported by the agent (hostname, OS, installed packages, running services, SSL certificates, cron jobs, resource usage)
• Billing information processed by Stripe (we never see your card details)

What the agent collects

The DriftHalt agent is open source and collects only metadata. It never collects:

• Passwords or SSH private keys
• Environment variables or application secrets
• File contents of any kind
• Application data or database contents

How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the DriftHalt service — displaying your server information in the dashboard and sending alerts you configure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data including server records, scan history, and personal information. This cannot be undone.
